Barhobby knows how it is; There you are, at the end of another day and
all you can think about is falling down on your couch with the remnants
of a cold greasy take-home taco clutched in your hand and the prospect
of nothing to do for the rest of the evening except mindlessly channel
surfing all 200 stations. Then a friend calls and you agree to stop for
a cold one on the way home.
You enter a bar that has all the soul and charm of a meat locker. Cold
shiny Formica on the bar top. Bright fluorescent lighting that
overpowers any ambiance from the lone neon pub sign. Pulsing disco-like
music that makes your fillings hurt. One kind of beer on tap served in
a colored plastic glass. And the people... Well. Barhobby put away the
